To experience Mogán you have to visit its fishing ports. The departure and arrival at the port, the sailors fishing, unloading the day’s catch… This is what life is like in a maritime town like ours. The Puerto de Mogán fishermen’s guild, together with that of Arguineguín, is one of the largest guilds in Gran Canaria, and together they are also the ones that catch the most fish. It has 17 boats, 17 shipowners, 34 skippers and up to 60 sailors, a figure that increases during the tuna harvest. The port has a fish market and various restaurants. A great place to get to know the close relationship that links us to the sea.
