The marina of Puerto Rico is made up of two harbours that offer a 6 hectare shelter area with up to 530 berths, in some areas for boats of up to 60 metres in length. The first of the harbours is Puerto Escala, which with its 100-metre breakwater houses 212 moorings. The calm sea and gentle winds make it an ideal place for scuba diving and water sports. The harbour offers a wide variety of water sports, sailing and motor excursions, and deep-sea fishing.
